NH Energy Week: 'Building the Road to EVs in NH'

Date: April 10, 2022

As part of the weeklong hybrid NH Energy Week program, GSCCC joined the planning committee for a webinar on April 13, 2022, entitled "Building the Road to EVs in NH." The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law invests significantly in the build-out of the EV charging infrastructure needed to pave the path for EVs. With mainstream auto manufacturers moving to an EV market, the time is now. New Hampshire can tap into the economic benefits by building the workforce and policy to support EV infrastructure development in our state. The goal will be to build a network of charging stations that are accessible and user friendly, as well as a reliable electric grid to supply the needed power.

Where will the EV chargers be installed? What can communities do to prepare? In this session, Josh Singer of CENH moderates a panel of presenters which includes Kevin Bell, VP of Marketing for Loon Mountain Resort, State Sen. David Watters of Dover (sponsor of several EV bills), and Jessica Wilcox, GSCCC Coordinator for NHDES, with opening remarks from Tom Burack, Esq. of Sheehan Phinney (former NHDES commissioner and current EV owner). These experts share key insights for building the road to EVs in NH.
